I would give them a zero if possible. We called them for one fitting that needed to be replaced, they talked me into 3000 worth of additional fitting they suggested needed to be replaced. one of the fittings they replaced leaked and we had no hot water at showers after they left. we called them again they said everything was fine. We called a second plumber who said they must have crossed lines and that we needed to call Ben Franklin back to fix their mistake. They came back again and said everything was fine no crossed lines. We then had another fitting burst we called them back they sent another tech who charged us again to fix fitting. We still have no hot water after 2 weeks in. I called tech who said maybe the fittings were clogged from the water being shut off, he supposedly ordered parts, that are not in as of yet. I called a different plumber who is here now saying that Ben Franklin crossed lines he is currently fixing. The owner Mike Fowler advertises he puts his cell number on all the invoices. however after 4 calls to him he is conveniently never available. I would recommend never using this company!

I appreciate someone being able to come out the same day I called. And the job was done correctly. However, had I known that I was going to be charged 500 for a 30 minute job I probably would have tried to get a few quotes. I thought we might get some kind of consideration since they were replacing a plastic faucet handle snapped off that came with the whole house water softer Ben Franklin installed a few years back. From this information forward is a month after the response from the owner about following up. I still have not heard from anyone on being charged 500 for 10 worth of materials for less than 30 minutes work in an non emergency situation.
