| jeffrey kleinschmidt | Steer clear. Very dishonest. I contacted Sherry's Plumbing to perform a very small job, Basically replace a water supply line to a slop sink in a basement. All plumbing was exposed and easily accessible. I was not home at time of repair so the tech called me with a price to complete the job he said it should fall in the 300 to 350 range. This i thought was high for a fairly simple job but i was out of town and needed the job done so i reluctantly agreed. All seemed fine and the craftsmanship was acceptable, but then Two weeks later i received a bill for over 500.00!! i was billed for 6 hrs labor and it took TWO guys to complete this very simple job. I called and spoke to the owner He was unable to adequately explain why the charges were higher than quoted by his employee, He stated that his employees are not authorized to supply pricing and then he went on to talk in circles. I called a another plumber and explained what was done and what parts were used they confirmed that pricing was extremely high and this should have been a 2 to 3 hr repair MAX. Feel completely ripped off. |
