Plumbing services by Pipe Dreams Plumbing LLC in Janesville, Wisconsin

I had a simple water heater replacement job and called Pipe Dreams because they are near neighbors and I wanted to support a small local contractor. We set a time for replacement, they had a cancellation and asked to come early, which was fine. The journeyman plumber was fine and the work was completed within 2 hours; however, then the bill comes. They charged substantially more than MY price on the heater even though they get a better price. The biggest problem was the labor... 353 for 2 hours of journeyman labor. I called and gave them an opportunity to correct the billing. They said they charge for drive time. Uh, it takes about 3 minutes to get from their driveway to mine. They could not justify the time versus the billing but also did not change the billing. It is quite a shame to look for a small local plumber to support but find a someone that I'm posting negatives about instead.

Absolutely horrible! Use any other plumbing service but this one. They didn't give us a quote upfront for repair, AND they didn't fix the problem,!! The next day I had water pouring out of my pipes everywhere. They tried to say they told us this wasn't going to fix the problem. Well if it wasn't going to fix the problem I would have sent you on your way. When I refused to pay the bill due to it not being fixed and having to pay a different service to come in there now just adding more and more service charges. Absolutely completely 100 unprofessional and they don't know what the hll they're doing.

woke up to no hot water. pipe dreams was able to get a guy here that day. he did a great job installing a new water heater. he was actually earlier than predicted.!! he was courteous and professional. he didnt leave a mess. price was best of the 3 places I called. I'll continue to business with pipe dreams for my plumbing needs.
