I have worked with Dave outside sales rep and have found him to be one of the most knowledgeable in the industry. Our company has purchased products from Kempsville for about 5 years and the company has always stood by their products if any issues came up. There pricing has always been competitive and have a great selection of window/door products.

I've worked with Dave Shoaf at Kempsville/Carter Lumber over the last 3 years and he has became one of my most reliable sales representatives. His knowledge of construction and the products he sells, "can-do" attitude, and desire to find a solution no matter the challenge is invaluable to us. In this business, depending on vendor partners for their expertise is what keeps us going. He is honest and trustworthy and VERY detail oriented which is something we particularly look for in vendor partners here at mollybydesign. If we could give him a 6th star we absolutely would!

We saved,planned and organized to put a roof on our home. Our son requested leave from the usmc to help. We had a contractor we know travel from Maine so we could be sure of work quality. We ordered our materials and paid in full with cash on 9/11. Our delivery arrived with pieces missing. What we did receive was wrong. Valleys were for a shingle roof,we are using metal. Everything ordered same place and time. Eves trim we got was commercial instead of residential. The contractor did what he could with what he had. Definitely a big loss for us. Since he traveled this far committed to do the job he was paid as promised. My husband took a week off of work. Now he will need to finish the job alone whenever the right stuff comes in. It going to rain Sunday and Monday. Very disappointed. I at least thought they would reach out to us. I feel the "sorry for the inconvenience ".email wasn't very sincere. Very disappointed.
