Amanda Batkin | The people who work here are beyond rude. I really don't understand it. To hang up on a customer is very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and drive out to ace hardware in Brattleboro - better prices, selection, and attitude. They were SO helpful helping me today. 150 loss for WW. We will never bother with this store again and it really sucks because we live right up the road. |
David Adams | I have never been treated the way I was just now in a store. I am a carpenter by trade and am very knowledgeable about most renovations in a house. I had a simple question about a dryer outlet and whether or not to change the outlet to accommodate the plug I have or simply buy a new plug and install it to the dryer. After the salesman showed that he had no knowledge about what I was asking, he told me I need to hire a professional, which I found to be very rude. He didn't even walk back to the outlets with me to show me the difference. He showed no knowledge and I had to be assisted by a customer who answered my question without hesitation. They need to have better workers there that are trained to answer specific questions and who are determined to help instead of referring you to someone else. I received just as good as service that I would have if I had gone to a big box store. Not the experience I would expect out of a small town store, but I guess when your the only one around you can treat your customers how you feel like it. Even when I asked him about a new stove I installed he still couldn't provide me with an answer and once again told me I need to call an electrician. Poor customer serivice and it was impossible to find somone who would actually help you find an item. I had to locate everything on my own and I felt very discouraged with the way I was talked to. I will shop at home depot or Lowe's now, no matter the distance it takes to travel. I would rather travel an hour to get a fuse or even a light bulb before I travel the 5 minutes to go back there and get treated the way I was today. |
john | Fantastic service and value. Staff is extremely helpful -- I really can't say enough about the service. Home Depot might be a tad cheaper, but could never get the expertise and assistance as you would in WW. |
