Plumbing services by Hartigan – A Wind River Environmental Company in Middlesex, Vermont

A Hartigan service technician pumped out our septic tank earlier this week. Everything went very smoothly: scheduling the appointment, getting a call with the driver's ETA before arrival, pumping the tank, getting feedback right away as to the status of the tank and receiving additional info about how to improve the bacterial balance in the tank and other helpful info. The cost was reasonable, everyone was very professional and helpful, and I would definitely recommend Hartigan to others seeking residential septic services.

Terrible customer service. I had a technician out at a house I was looking at buying and he was unable to perform the work we needed done, due to the old cleanout cap being stripped. I do not understand why he didn't have a pipe wrench which would have easily taken the cap off but that's a different issue. Since this is not my property, Hartigan said they would call the owner of the house to see how they want to proceed. I was told I would receive a call with further details. I never received a call so called the next morning. Josh picked up the phone and would not tell me if they had called the owner or not, and kept saying "I understand what you need sir but I can not give you that information". There is no way he understood what I needed as he would not let me say one word without interrupting. He then hung up on me. I would not recommend Hartigan to anyone looking to get sewer scope work done.

I needed a long overdue septic system pumpout. Called Hartigan and I was readily able to make an appointment within a week. I did have to call the morning of the appointment, but got through quickly and the office was able to track the truck and tell me that it would arrive shortly. It did. Stanley was polite, thorough, and efficient. Found the grass covered lid, and did a nice job of returning the grass to a decent state. Overall a very positive experience, at a price that I thought was reasonable.
