This is a lesson in hiring the right person for the job. I recently needed a plumber during the build out of our massage store. We wanted to install an ADA compliant shower. The first “plumber” I hired raised red flags when he insisted on working weekends to avoid inspection. So I decided to try another “plumber.” At least he talked like he was a plumber. But this guy didn't actually read the architectural prints until we had busted out the concrete, so we had to do additional work. In addition he didn't install p-traps on some of the drains. It wasn't until then that I found out that he wasn't a licensed plumber. My bad for not asking the right questions! That is when we reached out to Bob Wheatley of Wheatley Plumbing. In contrast, Bob is a consummate professional, plumbing expert, and world champion ballroom dancer it's true look him up on YouTube. Bob collaborated with his team to design the plumbing from the underground to the top out to the finish. Recognizing that we were under financial constraints, Bob worked patiently with me to engineer a solution that was cost conscious and yet sound from and engineering and code perspective. Bob Wheatley and his team are at the top of my list of heroes who helped us complete our build out and get our store opened.
