They put up a fight about filling out a permit and presenting insurance to the borough. Was rude and unprofessional about it. I was paying for the permit so it's not like he was coming out of his money or he could have added it to the invoice. Also tried to make the job bigger than what it was and tried to overcharge me. Not to mention wanted me to pay him for the frustration of filling out the permit to do the work.

I sent a request about 5 a.m. via their website to be contacted as soon as possible, explaining that we had a leak that was dripping in the basement. At 8:18 a.m., I got a text message that someone would come by at 1 p.m. . I got another text message about 20 minutes before he arrived, saying he was on his way. Impressive! He fixed the problem in about a half an hour. Fast, clean, efficient, friendly. Excellent! Recommend highly.

After my usual plumber botched a job and decided to try to up-sell me an additional service contract rather than fix it, I started looking for a replacement. Brendan Walsh replied to my inquiry right away. They told me they didn't really do onsite free estimates, but then got back to me right away to tell me they would be in the area and could come by that afternoon. They sent an estimate only a few hours later. They did the job they were hired for but then they fixed the job my "former" plumber botched and did not charge me. The cost was about 70 less than my former plumber quoted and they offered a new customer discount as well. Also noteworthy is that when I scheduled the appointment I told them that I would need to wait a week so that I could pay without difficulty. They told me that if the problem got worse before that appointment, I should call them and they would come out right away and "figure it out". Clearly they didn't have to do that and it was truly appreciated. My experience has been that businesses don't typically go beyond what they have to do and what they are being paid to do. For all of these reasons I highly recommend Brendan Walsh Plumbing.They are my new plumbing service.
