| Cathy Moore | My husband went into Gordan White Lumber yesterday to buy some lumber for a project we wanted to do over the holiday weekend while our son-in-law was home from the Army. He was on his way to work and in our small car so he placed the order, paid for it, and arranged for our boys to pick it up later in the day. When we ran into town to get the lumber the boys dropped me at the market, picked up the lumber right before the lumber yard closed, and came back and picked me up at the market, and came straight home. When we got home and unloaded the lumber we noticed that one of the 8' 4 x 4s we had been given was a foot short! My husband called Gordan's this morning and they flat out refused to make it right and even stated to my husband that they didn't believe it. So, no....not only can I not recommend them but as much as we prefer to support local businesses we will now go elsewhere for the many projects we have planned on our new property. For 11.03 they called a customer a liar and refused to make a mistake they made right. Hope it was worth it. |
