Plumbing services by Menards in New Philadelphia, Ohio

It's a nice place to go into as got a lot of variety of stuff to look at it being new there still a little kinks are trying to work out that's why I haven't given it a five stars because there are still some kinks and some things I got to work out there but all in all it's still a nice clean store and the people so far have been pretty nice I was in there today walking around taking these pictures and everybody has given a four I said because I need some tweaks some of the tweaks I'm talkin about I was I was outside taking pictures and there was a guy loading 6 by 6 by 10 foot pressure treated post by himself I asked him if he didn't have any help and you guys on no and I turn around I see bunch of guys off in the distance, forklift with them by I go walking towards the front I'll send one the I guess you'd call him a yard foreman came walking up to me concerned about me taking pictures when they actually should have been more concerned about the guy loading the 6 by 6 pressure treated lumber by himself I explain why I was taking the pictures and had no problem then but I think they should have been more concerned about somebody loading lumber by themselves than somebody taking pictures

We are saddened to have to give such a review. Customer service was absolutely horrible. My husband left a bag at this store and when he went back the next day, the lady told him they return left items to the shelves?! They didn't even hold it for 24 hours. The lady my husband dealt with the first time was very kind and willing to help, but we still found there were items on our receipt we didn't have when we went back to the job site. So when my husband went back a second time to try and retrieve these items, a different female manager was there and was very rude and smirking to her associate insinuating my husband was trying to be deceptive in just getting the items he paid for. We spent over 7,000 there within 3 days because of a remodel and explained to them we in no way would try to swindle them out of 50 dollars, which was about the cost for the items that were left behind. My husband then called the general manager who was seemingly cold and distant and didn't even offer an apology until my husband asked him directly questioning if he even cared how he was treated. He gave no offer of assistance or help. He basically told my husband he was out of luck. We have spent a lot of money in this store but we will NOT be returning here with our business. My husband works in the roofing/ construction industry and his business prides themselves in customer service and satisfaction. Menards of New Philadelphia, Ohio is sorely lacking in this area. We just want the items that we PAID for and left. My husband wasn't careless in leaving the items. He had thousands of dollars worth of items he was trying to juggle as the store was closing. They looked at the cameras for a mere 5 minutes but because they couldn't make it out they gave us no relief. Menards, I suggest you work on your customer service. Because you never know what kind of contractors and sub contractors you are dealing with. We will make sure to share our experience with other contractors so they know what kind of customer service they will be facing should they ever forget an item or have to deal with your management.

This was my first visit to this location and we were impressed with the overall cleanliness and selection of the store. The aisles are wide and it is very well stocked. There may have been a lot of people shopping but the store is large and can handle as many shoppers as the area send to them. The cashier was polite and the clerks were able to point us to the correct location every time we asked where a product was located.
