I have been using Lawrence, the owner of Haywood Plumbing for over 3 years. Shh he is the best kept secret in Charlotte and handles all of my properties and personal residence. Great prices and so very knowledgeable. Plumbing is in his blood and he instinctively can give you a better way than you may have imagined. I have dealt with other plumbers briefly and they do not seem to have the knowledge and the ability to address the issue/issues. He has handled large jobs for me such as installing a 300 feet sewer main to replacing high pressure valves. I wish he could come to my Florida home. Yes sometimes he is a little busy and cant see you at the drop of a hat, but he does prioritize if it is an emergency. I am in Real Estate and know a prize when I see it.I always have a good feeling when he is handling my plumbing issues, the stress and worry isn't there, its nice to feel confident about the person you have hired and who has access to your house. He is a man you can trust. Something that seems to be a vanishing trait in today's world.

I had a leak under my driveway. I obtained 3 quotes locally. 2 of the 3 companies advised me they would have to tear out a huge chunk of my driveway and possibly replace the whole line and quoted me around 5 grand. They advised my line ran under my driveway all the way up and into the side of my house. And they were dead set on it. Lawrence came out, and was very personable, knowledgeable and professional from the start. He pin pointed the leak close to the meter in the driveway, as we could hear it against the concrete. The other companies could hear it as well, but they were dead set on tearing up my entire driveway and charging me an insane amount. Lawrence also advised that it didn't run through the driveway but at an angle to my house. When he tore out the 3x3 piece of driveway he was spot on! This was the best experience I have ever had with any plumber. He showed up at 8am and was gone by 11:30 am and the workmanship was outstanding. I will never use anyone other than him for any plumbing needs. If you find yourself in the same position I did, backed into a corner by some of these other "big name" plumbers who want to rob you blind, And happen to read this, give this man a call, I promise you will not regret it.
