I've been having a water retention issue with my one pipe steam system since I moved into my house this year and called Ranshaw Plumbing to help rectify the situation. Hing was sent to my house and could not have been more professional, took the time to listen to all my issues, walked through the problem as he saw it step by step, didn't waste time, was receptive of my questions and helped me come up with a game plan to solve my issue. Hing is clearly knowledgeable about steam heating, cares about the customer and isn't trying to fix things that aren't broken. It's critical to find a plumber that is passionate and knowledgeable about steam when trying to troubleshoot issues, as the solution isn't always clear or just one step. I will definitely call Ranshaw for my next plumbing issue and hope to be able to work with Hing again.

Just had a new boiler put in by Ranshaw and I wish I had known about these guys sooner. The igniter on my old boiler went out last winter and I called some random local guys that were terrible and severely overcharged me predatory pricing because it was the middle of January. Before the winter hit this year I decided it was time to completely change out the 40+ year old unit and looked around to see who could do it right. I'm so glad I found Ranshaw, both Richies ,yes there are two, were professional and knowledgeable. I'm very happy with their service and won't be calling anyone else in the future. Do yourselves a favor and stop wasting time with local HVAC/plumbing guys that run a business from their basement. There's a reason why Ranshaw has so many positive reviews vs the competitors.

I just recently had Ranshaw replace a boiler in a 6 unit building. I am so pleased with the work they performed that this is my first review ever. I'm compelled to write a review because of the excellent service and work Ranshaw performed. As some may know, any building that has above 5 apartments requires that city codes and regulations be followed. Richie Bonelli was my contact at Ranshaw from the start and oversaw the entire project from beginning to end: from getting the permits, performing the job, arranging the inspection, to the city sign off on the job. Throughout the entire job there was constant and quick communication keeping me informed of each and every detail. Every one of the workers was courteous and professional - including the people on the phone at their office - super nice! I would highly recommend Ranshaw Plumbing and Heating to family, friends, and anyone who is in need of plumbing and heating services. I thank Richie and the entire crew over at Ranshaw for the outstanding service and results!
