| Tal Nuriel | Jim saved me last night! My radiator started spraying water at about 12:30am. I called about 5 different “24 hour” plumbers near me, none of whom picked up the phone. Fortunately Jim did. He was further away, but said he would come out if I needed him to. But first he told me to try an old school trick of sticking a pencil in the part of the radiator that was spewing out water, allowing the wood to expand and stop the leakage. I didn't have a pencil, but used an old flower stem that I had, and it did the job. Saved my night and my apt, and allowed me to sleep until I could contact building management in the morning. I'm definitely glad he picked up the phone. |
