| Beverly Line | This used to be a place I waited all year to visit with my sister. It became a Christmas tradition for us. It's been going downhill in the last two years. This year was the worst!! The decorations used weren't period decorations. They were modern. There used to be an array of snacks to enjoy....inside the house.....in the warmth. This year the food was just chips, pretzels and ROCK HARD cookies eaten in the OUTSIDE BARN while huddling under one of two heaters! Meanwhile the smell of chicken and ham permeated from a separate building that wasn't available to the donating vistors such as in previous years. VERY disappointed. I won't be visiting again. |
