So, I called these people with a simple request; to remove an outside faucet. This is an act that would take less than 10 seconds with the right tool. I live in a small town and, no matter where you live, you are less than a 5 minute drive to practically any destination. I asked the gentleman how much he would charge me to come out to my house and remove the faucet. I don't have the right tools. He stated that for 10 seconds worth of work and a 10 minute round trip drive, probably less, he would charge me a service call of 60.00. Really??? It's a sad situation that a neighborhood company would take advantage of a resident. Free would have won him a customer for life.
