Plumbing services by Wabash Hardware & Rental in Wabash, Indiana

I go to this store to rent a variety of different equipment and have for years. Lately every time I go in, I enter through the rental doors, wait, give up, go to the front desk, page someone, go back to the rental department, wait some more. When I get the equipment, I have always alerted them upon return if there were any issues. In the past years I have repeatedly told them of the same problems with the same equipment. Why? If I have been renting the same brush mower for 2 years, it is clearly paid off in full. So why is the belts not being changed? Why am I having to fix and repair, or argue with equipment that I am paying hundreds of dollars to rent? Not to mention the fact that the last time I rented the skidloader, the older gent forgot to chain it down, and when I returned it he damaged the back of my truck while unhooking the trailer. To which he said whoops, and literally walked away.

Friendly and helpful staff. Large variety of items. Love the old time candies and sodas.

Every time I go to the Wabash store, I am greeted by an entire crew scared to death to smile, be friendly, or even make eye contact. They love to act like I have no clue what I'm talking about. I know it's a small town store, but they have very little inventory. I took an old paint can in that I bought years ago from another state, still had the codes on top. The guy kept interrupting me like I was a child and not worth his time. He did a pretty good job of matching the color. But with a sour attitude. The old man that works there, constantly has the young women employees constantly leaning all over him. I try to smile and act friendly with the cashiers, and they all act like they have no clue what a smile is, and some are even afraid to say a single word to me. That's right. Some ring my stuff up and never say one word! Once they even offered to carry my many many bags to the door and stand at the doorway for me. Uhm, no thanks. I think I can manage to walk those two extra steps. Where is the customer service and friendliness?!?!?!
