| Pat Chancellor | Our motor on our septic system needed repair and my husband called Cline Concrete and got a quote for replacing the motor and a new housing installed. The lady who answered the phone gave my husband I was sitting right next to him when he was talking to her of 600.00 for the total job completed. They were supposed to call us before coming to do the work and didn't call. They came and installed the motor only. No other work was done. My husband called them back and asked why the housing wasn't installed and why we were not called. The lady told him it took two men to do the job and only one came. A few days later they came back and installed the housing and while doing so broke a wire that connects to the alarm in our garage. They replaced it. When we received the invoice the next day in the mail the total bill due was 706.25. My husband called them back and the same lady who answers the phone said she couldn't remember giving him that quote and wouldn't honor the original quote. They said they would reduce the bill to 650.00. My husband told the lady he would never do business with them again. We asked for another statement to be sent and we will pay the bill but we are done with this company. Advice to others is that if you need service contact another company or make sure you get everything in writing before having them do anything. |
