Tech was polite, but the tactics and pricing were WAY out of line. The so-called tune-up was more like a search to find anything possible wrong. The only cleanup was waving around a vacuum and a quick rag. His meter that read down to 1/ppm never went off at the furnace or the vents yet he red flagged my furnace DO NOT OPERATE! Then he turned it back on and proceeded to tell me how unsafe it was to operate and potential for my family's death. While dealing with the shock of that he hands me a bill for nearly 1900 for what he said was a 4 hr job. The heat exchange is under warranty so 1500 for labor and he was charging 280 for igniter that is commonly 30. Completely absurd and shameful trying to prey on fear!!!
