I called them to help me solve an odor issue, and the plumber who made the call, who was very nice, pretty quickly suggested a fix which would not require any actual plumbing work. He only stayed five minutes, but was required to charge me 90 for a service call. When I called to ask if the charge could be prorated or even waived, the manager refused to even consider it. Therefore I will not call C&S again, but rather will find a local business who treats customers more like people and and less like policies--such as the electrician who came to my house the week before and waived his service fee when he discovered no work was needed. It does happen with the right businesses. |
