Carol Martinez	In March 2018, I had a new hot water heater installed by Daniel's Plumbing. Last week, a worker in our home noticed that the pan under the heater was almost overflowing with water and that the valve was badly corroded. It turned out that when the heater was replaced, the valve 10 yrs old or so was not. Daniel's has now charged us 240 to test the heater and replace the valve. When I called to protest the charge, I was told that though it was clear from the invoice that they had not replaced the valve, the plumber who did the job was no longer with them so they could not question him to see why he didn't replace it. I was also told that when they replace a heater, they are not responsible to replace the valve! A valve is cheap, but a flood - which we almost had - is expensive. Buyers beware!
