simple job, repairing broken well pipe, but 'magically' the check-valve spontaneously broke!. Of course he "forgot" to check that before leaving and had to come back again with a new check valve, and charged full price again plus part markup. So either the check valve coincidenatlly broke at the same time as the pipe, or, more likely, it was sabotaged. On the second visit he boasted about how he's done this a thousand times and showed me how you can hear the water sucking through the broken valve, which begs the question: with all that experience, why didn't you test it before leaving the first time? Apparently some people think we're all as foolish as they are. That's a quick way to make a buck and lose a lifetime of return business. Sad.
