Plumbing services by Crandall’s Plumbing Inc. in Huntington Beach, California

Kevin, Paul, Sam, Sydnie, Angie, Kayla and everyone else at Crandall's Plumbing have been nothing but professional the 2x we have used their services at my daughter's Costa Mesa condo. Unfortunately, the most recent time I was out of the country and my daughter called another plumber, by mistake, for slow draining pipes in her master bedroom. This so-called "expert plumbing company" came out twice, with a total cost of 1200, without solving the problem. They then wanted to cut into the concrete to remove the blockage at a cost of thousands. By then I was back in the country and spoke with the technician that had been out to the condo twice and had said the only way to solve the issue was cut the concreted and replace 4' of drain pipe. I told him I thought there was another, much easier way to remove the blockage because of the sub pump system in the condo. He felt he was the expert even though I relayed to him, that, though not a plumber, as a small developer I have built over 25 homes and do have some knowledge of all phases of construction. In short, I called Crandall at 2pm on Friday, by Saturday morning at 8:30 the blockage was removed, with NO concrete cutting and a cost of only 250!!! It really is too bad that there are so many unqualified, self-proclaimed professionals in all aspects of home repairs that charge consumers ridiculous amounts because they refuse or don't know how to completely analyze a problem to find the best and least expensive way of solving it. Crandall's Plumbing is not one of those unqualified plumbing companies. I have found their technicians look at the issue from all ways and have the experience and knowledge to do it right the first time and save the consumer s. Needless to say I told my daughter to be sure and throw away the business card of that other plumber and only call Crandalls from now on!!

Making an appointment was easy. On time and did excellent work

I was so relieved to get a referral for such a well reviewed plumber. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed from the time I placed my initial call. I got voicemail which wasn't a huge surprise but their message said that I would get a call back within one business day. I did not so I called back. When I verbalized my concern that I didn't get a call back in their stated time frame of expectation, the receptionist Kayla was unapologetic about it. I decided I couldn't let my initial negative experience prevent me from getting the 4.4 Yelp / 4.5 Google star service I was expecting. But the first available appointment was 4 days later. Although I didn't have a burst pipe or a true emergency, when the water provider sends someone out because of the amount of water you're using, and you have no idea where the leak is, 4 days is way too long to wait. Needless to say I found another plumber, 4 Yelp / 4.9 Google, who not only came out within 2 hours of my call, without an emergency charge, they fixed the problem with 5 star service.
