Mary P | I've been a loyal customer here for years, but this afternoon was very disturbing to me. I came to the store to pick up an online order and return a home delivery for a bathroom sink which listed the wrong specifications that I needed because the old one was rusted and worn, removed after I ordered the second sink. I had received the notification it was ready for pickup and brought the wrong sink to return. COVID-19 currently affecting the store's hours and accessibility as to be expected. They have a separate line for online order pickup. I waited 20 minutes and the employee at the check-in at front of store was rude, unfriendly and wanted order number, I gave her two that were ready. She came back after a few minutes to tell me one was not going to be there for 4 days. I tried to show her the confirmation, she interrupted me. She wrote the wrong number down for the other order and didn't know which order was not ready. She went back in, a few minutes later brings out my second order and it was in bad condition. The package looked like it was ran over my a mud truck. She just walked away. I said, "Excuse me, may I proceed into store to return this the wrong sink?" She said, "No, you have to get in the other line." By that time, there were over 30 people in that line and the store was closing in 30 minutes. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager was nearby and I explained the issue, she said, "Go ahead." She was just as rude as the employee. By the time I made my return, I had 15 minutes to run and find a sink. I found a one that was similar to the one I ordered, but it did not include the specs on the box. I had no time nor was there anyone around to help me. I got out to car, opened box and read the insert which gave me the information and it did not fit either. Another day or more with no sink. I thought to myself, after all of the business that I've given this store over the years, they really treated me bad, no excuse for it. |
