Then before the end of the day, office administration had emailed me a site drawn map that they drew up and also County septic permits from 35 years ago which we had misplaced. | Lawrence Johnson | Excellent! Jesse knew more about my septic system than I did. System had been working fine for 11 years, then we had this serious drought with not as much well water as we were used to. So we started only flushing the brown and not the yellow. Turns out we have a "belly" in the line to the tank - a spot where the line goes up slightly rather than in a straight line. The brown got stuck in the belly so the toilets wouldn't flush. Jesse found a lid to the tank that I didn't know was there, used a special tool to locate where the line was and how deep it was, and a camera to identify the hump. They cleared the line and pumped the tank. Ta da! Everything works great again. And genuinely nice. 2018-07-02 in Walker |
