| Megan Davis | The job was done as expected. He came promptly to quote it and gave me a range of 1000-1200. However, when he came the next day to fix it I was not there and told him the time I was leaving, he called me exactly 2 hours after I left and said the job was finished. He said it was the best case scenario and all the field lines looked perfect, it was purely a problem at the tank. I assumed he would send a bill in the mail. He called the next day to ask if I would be home and said that he was coming by to pick up the check. I had to ask how much it was and he said 1200. When I questioned him about why it was the higher amount he would not ever tell me. He gave reasons like him having to drive in traffic to get to my house, waiting for the tank to drain, but both of those were things he already knew before he quoted the job. All I wanted to know was what could have happened for it to be the lower end of the range. Communication was poor. He did fix the problem adequately and came promptly. Don't plan on paying anything less than the top range he quotes you, regardless if the problem ends up being much less involved than what he thought it would be. |
