I had them give me a quote for a plaque heater installation and the quote was 895. 545 with an estimate to run new gas line from meter to gas appliance and connect it with parts and labor. 350 for a pressure test and pulling the permit. I ordered a pressure gauge online and installed it and performed a pressure test and replaced all the old pipe with new pipe myself. No leaks! Call them for a second quote and the price was 810-885. 760 estimated to connect the gas line to the space heater which was less than 5 ft away from end cap. 50-125 they said will be added to the total for pulling permit and pressure test comes with the estimate. Brand new pipe alone cost more than 10. The price only dropped 10 even with me doing 85 of the work previously quoted. TRYING TO RIP PEOPLE OFF!!!! |
