Every bill is higher and higher than the last and you can't even drink the water !!! It's brown and smells of sulfur and rotten eggs. You can't consume it or even cook with it. | Harold Morgan | We've been following this story for a few months and are completely appalled. It seems there is a huge problem in the management, communication and distribution of this public water system. The citizens of this community have to continue to stick together to make known what is REALLY going on. Use Social media, other MAIN news outlets and flood your Congress with letters and calls. Huge prices and water that is not safe for human consumption , regardless of the problem, is a situation that needs to be handled at the Federal level. This is a much bigger job than these 8 continuously paid employees can handle. This is not to cause any problems because the problem of unsafe drinking water has been there for over a year. We have a team looking into the legality of the grant money that has be awarded to this community months ago. Citizens should also contact lawyers , at least 100 miles away possibly from a different state who can put you in contact with authorities who can give you real answers and not just excuse after excuse. Enough is enough. |
