I went in for a sink aerator adapter was recommended by ace hardware because they didn't have the part, and was very disappointed by the outcome. The associate in the parts department didn't even let me finish my sentence in asking for the adapter when he saw my Britta filter in my hand. He immediately said that they didn't have the adapter and no one would, and that britta unfairly made filters that won't fit the majority of sink faucets not true. However, he was quick to offer their filtration system that would only cost my about 250. A quick google search found the appropriate adapter that Ace hardware said I would need and I paid 12.50 with shipping for the adapter. Seems like he had this encounter before and had his agenda. Save yourself some money and google things first.
