| Noah L-S | Terrible employees and high prices. Specifically an older male and female have the annoying habit of aggressively asking "what do you need". That would be fine, but it's not in a friendly way and then they often stare at you like your going to steal something. If I need help finding something than I would have asked when I came in the front door. The prices are not competitive, it's often worth going to Corvallis for even small items. |
| Jake and Esme | Their prices are typically 50 more than Home Depot in Corvallis. Some of the staff are knowledgeable in construction, it's hit and miss. We live just west of Philomath and like to go to True Value for small projects. If it's more extensive construction/ property work, we will make the trek to Corvallis. One reason for the low rating is the lady they normally have greeting customers and working the front register is as surly as they come. Not sure if she's related to the owners or what the deal is but it's clear she's not cut out for customer service. It's a shame they choose to employ her she deters us from going there regularly. We feel conflicted. It's good to support local businesses but not when you're getting reamed and bad service to boot. |
