| Al Coronado | RE: Racist J&S Exchange Driver w sleeper2168. LOCATION: Loves Travel Center @ Willis, TX. TIME/DATE: 11:30 am/ 02-28-2018.. While pulling/driving up to fuel pump23, a young man age 28 or so is yelling at me screaming/cussing, while walking from fuel pump22, something about "the pump". As I turn OFF my cab ignition, I hear more screaming & threats , "you cut off my fianc", " come on, get off so I can kick your ass." My first thought was that either he was HIGH or under the influence of some drug. Thus, I told him to stay away from me. While I was fueling my cab I reasonably assessed that the young man was IRATE/verbally & physically threatening towards me BECAUSE he ASSUMED that I cut in front of another rig that his FIANC was driving. I also took pics of his & her rig for documentation purposes. As I walked to get in my cab, so I can leave the fuel center, the young man yelled one last statement at me; " WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO BACK TO MEXICO ? I was so SHOCKED with his SAD COMMENT that I did NOT RESPOND or say anything in return. I JUST WALKED AWAY. Even though my education/degrees from TEXAS A&M and the University of Houston Civil Engineering/Electronics Technology do NOT APPEAR on my forehead, I guess the MOST IMPORTANT ITEM that does PRESENT ITSELF TO RACISTS IS MY SKIN COLOR. |
