My wife and I hired Wallco Construction in June of 2019 to build a custom home for us in Batavia. The whole process from start to finish was a great experience. Wallco had a simple, easy to understand contract and specification sheet, with a price that was good from the time of signing to the completion of the build. Kraig was attentive to our concerns, and flexible to work with regarding changes. Our home was completed to our specifications, on schedule. We are enjoying our new home and can't think of anything we'd do differently. We highly recommend Wallco Construction.

I came to know or Kraig Wall and Wallco construction when I was looking for a contractor to build a home for me. Kraig was more than accommodating for me to see his work and we arranged to meet at one of his sites. I had gotten there early and decided to inquire with someone who was living in one of the homes he built for them. The man told me what a wonderful man he was and how good a builder he was. From the look of that mans house it was evident how good the craftsmanship was. One thing the man who showed me his house that stuck with me he said Kraig is the kind of man who takes pride in his work. Kraig finally arrived and he showed me a house not yet lived in. It was perfect . He then proceeded to show me another spec house he had done and was ready to move in, in case I was interested. The craftsmanship was impeccable as every other house I had seen. I told him I was interested and got my loans approved. He immediately gave me the keys before the closing date , saying that he won't sell to anyone else and that I could come see it anytime. He also allowed me to move my things I n early too. I was amazed. My soon to be wife and I moved in and we were so happy with everything. Kraig obliged me and even changed the columns in the front of the house free of charge. After a few months after closing , the house began to settle and some normal subsidence occurred. I mentioned that to him and he had a crew on it so fast . I was amazed. Just recently almost 2years here now high winds and cold weather caused a small part of the siding to move. I emailed Kraig that night with a picture and description and next day he had a crew on it. I was skeptical at first that he would kick up a fuss since it had been so long from closing, but he didn't. It was amazing. Kraig is the kind of builder that responds to you in a timely fashion. If I had any issues I would email him at night and by 6:30 am the next morning he would have an action plan for things, and they would be executed in the timeframe he stated. He is a gentleman as well. Very courteous and humble. He has been mentioned in high esteem by local town board members for his professionalism , responsiveness , and quality of work. I was appalled by the above review. These things could not be further from the truth. His work crews are amazing and professional. Kraig is a great communicator and maybe the poor communication was on their side. Anyways , I hope more people come forward to praise this man. 2 stars is ridiculous!! He needs 6 stars.

We contracted Wallco to build our new home approx. 5 years ago at the recommendation of a few people we met through our childrens school. According to our contract the house was to be built with forced air heat and prepped/ready for an A/C unit tobe installed by a 3rd party contractor. After multiple heating and a/c companies came in and told us the house was never built for A/C we are having a company come in to replace the ducting that is incorrect, move thermostats AND they found that my childs bedroom although there is a heat vent in his room the duct work runs into the wall and never connects to anything - his room has always been very cold and we have had to run electric heaters for him in the winter but the fact that the just buried a piece of duct work and never connected it to anything is ridiculous. They also installed the wrong shower unit in our master bath. We offered to let it stay because we felt bad making them throw out/waste everything they used but it should have been fixed. They also failed to disclose in anyway that the lot we purchased was a dump site prior to us buying it. Because of this it is nearly impossible to dig without heavy equipment which increases our costs on every outdoor project tremendously. I will say one thing- the man that did the rough plumbing in the basement and the electrical work is very clean and neat. The person who did that did a wonderful job. The finish work is a mess but the rough plumbing and electrical was good. If I had to start over I would use a different company and I would urge you to do so also.
