Plumbing services by Richards Septic Service in Greenville, Michigan

I contacted Richards Septic in May of 2019, to replace my septic system at a verbally quoted price of 8-10,000 to be paid of the sale of my house. Once the work was completed and the county approved the replacement on August 5, 2019, I received a bill requesting over 16,000 to be paid immediately. I did not give approval for this change and although an itemized statement was requested, it was not provided. After several failed attempts for contacting the company in order to negotiate costs, the lowest price offered was 14,633, again to be paid immediately. No written contract was ever provided nor was a written quote. This was also reported to the BBB and Richards has not attempted to resolve this matter.

Ron and the entire crew were hard-working, willing to answer all our questions, and friendly. They worked around special trees and gardens yet still did the job right. The price was fair and they honored the quoted price. We highly recommend them.

Ron R. and Joe R. has done great work for us over the course of several years. I have personally hired them for several services including new house excavation, driveway installs, topsoil / landscaping and septic tank services. They have also done work for several of our friends and family members. Always a job very well done in a efficient time matter.
