I have a home warranty so when I have a problem with something I call them and they set up service for me. Long story short, I called my warranty company on 3/10 to report and issue with my water heater, on the morning of 3/11 a gentleman named Michael from Cranford Plumbing contacted me and in less that 2 hrs he was at my home to diagnose the issue. Within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem and ordered the part to be delivered right to our home with instructions for us to call when the part arrived. While at my house we discussed the vent and how it ran all kind of ways and Michael gave us the option of just replacing the part or moving the water heater to a better location along with replacing the part so the vent pipes would run correctly. We have had problems with the vent pipes in the past falling, coming undone and we did our best to re-tape them when we bought the house 3 yrs ago. Whoever installed all this stuff during a remodel was definitely not a certified plumber. Now keep in mind our warranty does not cover all this extra work. Which we knew upfront. So the part arrived and I called Michael and we gave him our decision to move the water heater. Michael was very good about working the day and time for everything to be done around my 3rd shift work schedule and days off. Michael showed up promptly this morning after I got off work even going to pick up all the extra things he would need before coming. He didnt have to make extra trips for extra parts, he knew exactly what he needed and brought it all with him. He kept me informed every step of the way. Within 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, Michael had all the work completed even fixing a leak in another pipe that was not even part of the original work that was to be done. And I could not be happier with the quality of work, the fair pricing of all the work he did and his professionalism. I can guarantee if I ever have any issues again, I will definitely call Cranford Plumbing and I will definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of plumbing work. I also will be contacting my Home Warranty and letting them know that I was very pleased with the work that was done. Sorry this post is so long when I said in the beginning long story short, but I thought it important to let everyone know just exactly how impressed I was and what a great job Michael with Cranford Plumbing did and how I appreciate the fact that he came in, did what he said he was going to do and charged a price he said he would charge with no surprises.
