| nick m | Went to the supply house today after searching for local plumbing supply companies. I always try to support small businesses versus going to a big box store. It was a simple fix, I needed the springs and washer for a Delta shower handle and I have the model which comes apart and repairable - so very simple. The attendant told me there are four valves, but they don't come apart and I would have to bring in the valve to figure out the replacement. When I asked the parts were 50 to 80 to fix. I walked out and spent 4 at Home Depot and just completed the job. All fixed and no leak. Tried to upsell a customer for an 80 part which is the price of the valve by being untruthful. Be honest to your customers and maybe you won't get closed down by the big box stores. Too bad and won't go back here. |
