| S R | When our new dishwasher arrived, I had my husband find a plumber. Tom was able to get out right away, which was nice. When I saw he had installed the dishwasher too far forward, I spoke to him about it. He said my husband wanted it that way. Upon further discussion, he admitted that the way he installed it was not right, but he does what the client asks for. I have been a kitchen and bath designer in the Tampa area for over 25 years. If a client asks for something not industry standard, you explain it to them and have them sign that they understand there could be issues down the road. Tom did not do that. Tom and I are both located in Apollo Beach, but he said we were too far away to come out a second time even when I offered to pay for the reinstall. As it happens, after running 5 loads the dishwasher wouldn't work. We had Samsung send a technician out. It took him 15 minutes to fix it. The wire nuts were not connected well enough... Hmmmm. Makes you wonder. |
