When the house was built, the contractor had installed PVC pipe between the water main and the copper house connection. Well, 13 years later this connection broke. I called E & S Plumbing and they came out.. Dug the whole, located the leak, and replaced it with the proper material according to code. The guy was very responsive, and he did a great job.

I asked for a suggestion as I had no water to my horse barn. A guy came out and had no answer as to why there was no water to the barn. I took my backhoe and dug up the line and then decided to just run a complete new line which I dig...everything was prepped by me. The guy told me to get a 5' hydrant. When I got back and they installed it the hydrant was way too tall. Back to Cal Ranch to get another. When I got back they were gone so I installed the hydrant myself. They put a shut off valve below ground level!!! and when I asked them to come back and fix it properly they said I had approved the project so now I would have to pay another trip charge plus their 110 per hour charge. Why would I approve a shut off THAT WOULD BE UNDERGROUND?? I was NOT at home when they left so how could I possible approve?? Also they called me the next day for payment as they had not waited for me to return with the new hydrant which further proved I couldn't possible approve the underground valve, which if I had leveled the trench would have been 6 inched under the soil. 4.5 hours of labor was 800.00. I sent them a picture of the valve placement and I haven't received any reply so I'm going to have to fix that myself. IF you use these guys be SUYE to get a firm estimate BEFORE and do not leave until they finish. I will NOT be using their services again.
